                          1-Unless

*Study this case circumstance:

-The club is for parts just.

-You can't go in unless you are a part.

This implies  You can't go In aside from on the off chance that you

are a part, or You can go in just on the off chance that you are a

part.

Unless = Except if

We regularly utilize unless as a part of warnings:

* We'll be late unless we rush. (= with the exception of on the off

chance that we rush)

* Unless you work much harder, you won't pass the exam.

* I was told I wouldn't pass the exam unless I worked harder.

              2- As long as

- As long as or so long as All these expressions mean 'if' or 'on

condition that'.

Examples:

  * You can take my heart as long as you love me .

( so you can take my heart  but you must love me --this is a

condition )

                               3- Provided/Providing :

*Travelling by car is convenient  provided (that)  you have

somewhere to park.

 * Travelling by car is convenient  providing (that)  you have

somewhere to park.

(= but only if you have somewhere to park)

Pey attention:

When you are talking about the future,  not use will after

unless/as long as/provided providing

You have to  use a present tense

* We'll be late unless we hurry. (not 'unless we will hurry')

 * Providing she studies hard, she will pass the exam. (not '

            providing she will study')
